Financial Literacy for Immigrants and Refugees
Throughout 2019 I worked with a team of 15 individuals, including Dr. Reilly White, to develop, write, edit, and publish a handbook through the University of New Mexico’s Refugee Well Being Project. On September 17, 2020 we received the Bank of America Fund which will go towards additional translations (Spanish, Arabic, & Pashto) and printing expenses. Hard copies will be delivered for free to the UNM Refugee Well-Being Project, the UNM Center for Financial Capability, and the National Hispanic Cultural Center. It will also be available as a free download through various other sources including UNM’s website.
