About Me

I started at UNM in 2012 as a biology major, until deciding three-quarters of the way through during my junior year that business administration was my true passion. After playing some major catch-up with my course-work I was able to graduate on time in 2016 with my BBA. During my time as an undergraduate I started as a Marketing Intern at a local home improvement company in Albuquerque, NM.

After a year as an intern I was promoted to Digital Marketing Manager in 2016 and that same year I began my graduate degree at Anderson School of Management (UNM). I worked full time at Dreamstyle Remodeling while earning my Master of Business Administration, taking classes at night. Gaining valuable insights, contacts, and information along the way, I graduated in 2018 and was ecstatic to be able to leverage my newfound degree.

I continue to serve as Director of Marketing for Dreamstyle Remodeling and am thankful that I get to work at a place where I am able to effectively utilize my education and skills on a daily basis. Marketing allows me to indulge my creativity while also incorporating data analytics and evaluation; I currently handle $1.5MM in monthly marketing spend driving $13MM in average revenue. In addition to marketing, I am also involved with call center management, business operations, and finance.

As of 2021, I handle 70+ marketing partner relationships (digital & traditional) and am responsible for lead gen resulting in $7.8MM in average monthly net revenue. I manage $1.5MM in monthly marketing spend and generated 156,000 digital leads in 2021, contributing 73% of our overall mix.

Everything starts with a Google search. With Adwords training under my belt, I am able to better manage paid search across Google and Bing while evaluating performance and metrics on a weekly basis.

Data Analytics and Analysis

I manage $1.5MM in monthly marketing spend which requires critical data assessment in order to adjust and apply dollars effectively. Without performing continuous appraisal, you will never know which campaigns are working and which ones aren’t.

I have lived in Albuquerque for ten years and want to do my part to foster a better community and positively impact economic growth and educational awareness. I participate in numerous organizations and efforts including the Asian Business Collaborative (Founding Board Member), Young Professionals of ABQ (Marketing Chair Board Member), and more. I was honored to be featured in ABQ Business First’s ‘New Mexicans to Know’ piece.

National Industry Recognition

A perk of working for one of the foremost companies in the industry is being able to absorb and learn from the best while also sharing the knowledge with start-ups and smaller growing businesses. I have participated and presented in many home remodeling and lead generation conferences including Professional Remodeler Magazine’s Extreme Lead Gen Summit 2021 and was awarded 40 Under 40 in 2022.

Social media is in everyone’s hands and I have effectively utilized Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, Pinterest, and Waze advertising to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and showroom/retail traffic.

Retail Marketing & Call Center

In addition to digital marketing, I am also involved with retail and call center operations on a daily basis which allows me to explore out of my wheelhouse and gain a better understanding of various other marketing facets.
